🇬🇧 BREXIT UPDATE – Windsor Framework

We are based in Northern Ireland. Under the Windsor Framework (formerly the Northern Ireland Protocol):

  • No new checks on goods between Northern Ireland (NI) and the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
  • NI remains in the EU’s single market for goods, allowing smooth trade with the EU.
  • Goods flow between NI, ROI, and the EU without extra customs checks or tariffs.

💸 TAX & VAT

Why do you charge VAT?
VAT is a legal requirement in the UK & Europe. We collect it on products and services (including shipping).

Why show prices excluding VAT?
We ship worldwide. Customers outside the EU don’t pay UK VAT but may pay import taxes upon delivery.

Can I buy VAT-free with a VAT number?

  • EU customers: Yes, provide your valid VAT number and matching delivery address before purchase.
  • UK customers: Pay VAT and reclaim it with the invoice we provide.

How can I pay?
Pay via checkout options (PayPal, Klarna, cards). Phone payments are limited for security reasons.

Do you offer 0% Finance?
No direct finance. We accept PayPal Credit & Klarna Pay in 3.

Can I view prices in my local currency?
Yes. Use our website’s currency selector to view prices in your local currency. Prices convert automatically but may fluctuate based on exchange rates.

Yes, but call ahead to confirm stock.

Will I have to pay customs charges?
Yes, for non-UK/EU deliveries, import taxes may apply. Contact your local customs office for details.

📦 Unpaid import duties may result in abandoned parcels — TMC Motorsport is not liable.

🔁 Returns & Refunds

How do I return an item?

  • Request a returns form at info@tmcmotorsport.com.
  • Return items in original packaging to:
    TMC Motorsport, Unit 8, 766 Upper Newtownards Road, BT16 1TQ, Northern Ireland, UK.

Refund processing time:
Refunds take 3–5 working days after processing.

Tuning products returns:
30-day refund if unused and in original condition. Include all packaging and accessories.

Special order items:
Cannot be returned unless faulty.

How do Tuning Boxes work?
They modify engine signals to increase fuel injection and turbo pressure, boosting performance while staying within safety limits.

Why does my tuning box look different from the website image?
Casing varies depending on circuit board type — function is identical.

ECU Remap vs. Tuning Box – which is better?
Both give similar performance. Boxes can be removed for warranty concerns. ECU tuning is permanent and may need redoing if the manufacturer updates software.

Will my car fail its MOT due to emissions?
No, emissions increase is negligible. Some kits even reduce emissions.

Is it legal to tune my car?
Yes, but you must inform your insurer of modifications.

Is the unit easy to install?
Most fit in 20 minutes. Some may need mechanical knowledge. Contact us for advice.

Will the tuning box damage my engine?
No, our units operate within safe manufacturer limits. Regular servicing is essential.

Why choose TMC Motorsport?
We use Multi-Channel Technology, adjusting fuel and turbo pressure together to prevent DPF blockages. Many cheaper units only increase fuel, risking engine issues.

How much power increase can I expect?
Up to 40% more BHP and torque depending on vehicle. Also improves towing and economy.

Will tuning improve fuel economy?
Yes, driven sensibly, fuel efficiency can increase by up to 20%.

What’s the difference between analogue and digital units?

  • Analogue: Basic, continuously increases fuel, can cause engine damage.
  • Digital: Smart programming adds power only when needed, keeping safety intact.

What is Multi-Channel Technology?
It tunes in real-time based on RPM, turbo pressure, and temperature, maximising performance safely.
